A fighter for family

There are many movies about boxing or boxers and some of them are really great such as “Raging bull” or “Rocky” or even “Million dollar baby” but in my opinion “Cindrella man” is something else and you cant compare it with any other movie in this genre. Ron Howard shows again in this movie that he is the master of adaptation. And Russel Crow makes Jim Braddock fascinating and very believable.

But there is one scene in this movie that I like the most, that moment when in one of Jim Braddock fights seems strength and skills are not enough then it becomes a heart fight and Jim remembers his hungry children and their empty beds  then he can won the fight. Because he didn’t fight for fighting he fought to survive his family. Here is a movie where a good man prevails in a world where every day is an invitation to despair, where resentment would seem fully justified, where doing the right thing seems almost untrue, because nobody is looking and nobody cares.

In this movie I also like the role of Rnee Zellweger and the way she makes Mae(Jim Braddocks wife) she acting great in this role.

In the end I just want to mention that Ron Howard in this movie mixing violence and softness magically.
