Good gangster, Bad cop
(An instance look at the Ridley Scotts latest movie “American Gangster”)

First of all you might expect a movie just like “Godfather” with the same focuss but “American gangster” is really diffrent.
It’s not better and at the same time it’s not worse either it’s somehow diffrent, you can see the signature of Scott(director) and Zaillian(Writer) all over the movie and it is not the only diffrence for sure.
The story is very engrossing specially when you find out that it is based on a true story and everything mixed greatly together, thanks to hollywood budget, There are two story in this movie and Scott ride them seperately and the end of movie is the intersection of these two stories.
This movie definetly is the best gangster, crime and drama of the year, maybe because there isn’t any big budget one around the town but this isn’t movie of the year, that’s for sure.
